چکیده

Aim: The aim of the study is to introduce an easy and predictable method for horizontal bone augmentation in maxillary ridge using autologous concentrated growth factors (CGF) enriched graft matrix (sticky bone) versus guided regeneration native collagen membrane Methodology: A total 28 patients presenting with Cawood Class IV classification (2-4mm residual alveolar width) were included study. 14 received sticky prepared from a 1:1 mixture autogenous anorganic bovine minerals covered by membrane. other same mix (sausage technique). CBCT scans taken immediately postoperative after 6 months measure gain both groups. Results: For group, median measured at 2, 5 10 mm crest was 2.55 range (1.43 ,4.34) mm, 2.61 (0.02 ,4.71) 1.15 (-2.88 ,4.89) respectively. While CGF 1.54 (-0,97, 2.93) 2.8with (-2.01, 5.27) 2.97 (-1.32, 5.4) Conclusion: Within limitations study, CGFmembrane simple technique unpredictable results compared

Guided bone regeneration in long-bone defects with a structural hydroxyapatite graft and collagen membrane.

There are few synthetic graft alternatives to treat large long-bone defects resulting from trauma or disease that do not incorporate osteogenic or osteoinductive factors. The aim of this study was to test the additional benefit of including a permeable collagen membrane guide in conjunction with a preformed porous hydroxyapatite bone graft to serve as an improved osteoconductive scaffold for bo...

Vertical Guided Bone Regeneration using Titanium-reinforced d-PTFE Membrane and Prehydrated Corticocancellous Bone Graft

Guided bone regeneration (GBR) standard protocols call for filling the space underneath the membrane with autogenous bone or a mixture composed of autogenous bone particles and allogeneic bone tissue or heterologous biomaterials. This work describes the case of a GBR performed to restore a vertical bone defect with simultaneous placement of a dental implant in the posterior mandible that was ca...

Horizontal ridge augmentation using particulate bone.

Thin alveolar ridges prevent dental implant placement. A variety of autogenous, allografts, xenografts, and alloplastic onlay grafts, alone or in different combinations, have been used to provide sufficient ridge width for proper positioning of endosseous implants. Disadvantages with the iliac crest donor site include significant resorption, patient morbidity, and high costs due to hospitalizat...

Alveolar Ridge Preservation Using Xenogeneic Collagen Matrix and Bone Allograft

Alveolar ridge preservation (ARP) has been shown to prevent postextraction bone loss. The aim of this report is to highlight the clinical, radiographic, and histological outcomes following use of a bilayer xenogeneic collagen matrix (XCM) in combination with freeze-dried bone allograft (FDBA) for ARP. Nine patients were treated after extraction of 18 teeth. Following minimal flap elevation and ...
